SYNOPSIS

STUART LOWE, the leader of the British government’s secret leniency/protection program for the early freed prisoners, admonishes the ex-convicts before sending them off to various parts of the world. He isn’t too happy about affording them their undue freedom.

JAMES MAYPOTHER, a posh millionnaire and ex-soldier with martial art skills, drives around the London streets with his brother, SIMON, in the driver’s seat, to test James’s new luxurious car. The two become involved in an unprovoked road rage incident with an aggressive type, ANDY HANDS, who knifes Simon to death. Andy receives a light sentence from the court, which infuriates James.

James embarks on a spree, kidnapping politicians and a civil servant to obtain the list of freed prisoners from the Westchester prison. Based on the erroneous info he obtains, he keeps attacking the freed relocated prisoners. He finds out that none of them is the Andy he is looking for, so he always sets them free.  Intelligence services cannot work out the identity of the attacker since James is always wearing hyper-realistic masks whenever he is carrying out these attacks.

PAUL WAGNER, a British Member of Parliament or MP, picks up a prostitute in a red light district while he is wearing a disguise. He is unaware that James is recording the act. James blackmails Paul to get the updated list of the freed relocated prisoners from the Westchester prison in exchange for the recording.

DORIAN HUMPHREYS, James’s employee, is kidnapped by Stuart’s men and is coerced into spying on James.  Dorian spies on James and Paul inside a car as they work on a laptop in the dead of the night in a deserted street. Paul provides credentials to a secure server and they download the updated list. James discovers that Andy has resettled in New York. As James makes arrangements with the travel agent, intelligence services are listening.

James captures Andy in his New York apartment and a fight ensues. James quips, “I’m now updating your sentence to match your crime” before killing him.

As he attempts to flee, James is cornered by SWAT police. Stuart appears on the scene, with an earpiece in one of his ears. A heated argument ensues between the two men, but Stuart cannot establish the identity of James as he is wearing one of his hyper-realistic masks. The intelligence services call Stuart and ask him to remove the masks. James is correctly identified in the end. James pounces on Stuart with handcuffs and suffocates him, but he is quickly shot dead. Paul commits suicide.
